DEKO 37 San Antonio Videographer
So this week I am working as a Personal Assistant (P.A) for a camera crew. A P.A. is a personal assistant on a film or video shoot. P.A.s usually run errands, such as getting food, coffee, carrying video equipment and other similar items. A P.A. will also help camera operators, directors, sound operators, gaffers and almost anyone on the set with holding lenses, charging batteries, transporting equipment and setting up/taking down a set. The conference was mainly about college studios being recruited by large companies for jobs. Most of the companies were technology based. We interviewed several college kids, people who run certain organizations and filmed a lot of B-roll. Most of the B-roll were signs for the event, seminars and people interacting at booths.
